Cathy Samples Staff Photo

I attended LeTourneau University and Texas A&M-Commerce.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialization in Early Childhood Education.  I graduated from Texas A&M-Commerce on May 16, 2009 and started teaching on August 15, 2009.

I have always wanted to be a teacher.

I worked at Austin College for 9 years as the Data Input Specialist and student supervisor for 16 students each year.

I have taught 1st grade for the last 6 years. My favorite part of teaching has been reading.  I love, love, love A.R. and help work for trophies.

I am teaching Dyslexia and enjoy the journey.  I am at all three schools.

My name is Cathy Adams Samples.  I grew up in Greenville, Texas. I have made Wolfe City my hometown and have lived here for 32 years with my husband and children.

My family attends church at Family Fellowship in Greenville, Texas.

I am 3 years Thyroid cancer free! I encourage blood work and early detection for everyone. I enjoy everyday I am given. I participated in Relay for Life this year.  My 4th grade class loved the idea and helped me to fund raise.  We raised $800.00. Bram (my little friend) and I even made the front page of the Herald Banner carrying the banner for opening ceremonies.
