Having grown up in Wolfe City, I was privileged to attend school here, and graduated in 1998.

Shortly after, I attended Texas A&M University-Commerce, and graduated in 2005 with my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I recently received my Masters degree in Educational Administration.

I am so excited to be teaching in my hometown. I grew up in Wolfe City, and attended school here from kindergarten through twelfth grade. I have been married for 15 years and have three children. I have a six year old son, Canaan, who will is in 1st grade. I also have twin daughters, Kamryn and Reese, who just turned two. Currently, we live in Josephine.

I believe that all students are my students. Each one of my kids have the ability to reach goals they never thought they could. Together, we never give up, we strive to learn, and we approach each day knowing, something amazing is going to happen.

I love teaching because I know I make a lasting impression upon each child that I teach. While I have a deep love for reading, I am also very passionate about writing. When someone mentions the word writing, I light up. The reason I am so passionate about writing is because it is the perfect way to communicate my feelings, my thoughts, and my stories. I try to show my students that if you can speak it, you can write it and we all have lots of good things to say. This makes all of us good writers.
