North Lamar High School senior and Boy Scout, Sam Greenwell, generously chose the Wolfe City music program as the beneficiary of his Eagle Scout project. Sam has been in band for many years and knows firsthand the benefits that music provides for students. He wants the students at Wolfe City to have the same opportunities to participate in band and music that he has had.

Sam supervised the custom design and building of a height-adjustable xylophone stand for our music room. He also coordinated and supervised a large garage sale, the proceeds of which have been donated to the Wolfe City music program. Sam and his many kind volunteers raised $786 for our fledgling program. Thank you, Sam, for choosing Wolfe City, and for your support of music in education. It is a gift that will keep on giving.
